A Wedding's Phenomenons

Last week, I went to a wedding. It was a lovely wedding. I don't know how many wedding I've attended before; a lot of families' and friends', then those when I worked part time as a wedding singer, but to me this wedding is very special.

There were white roses bouquets spread between delicious and pretty dishes all over the wedding venue, but those are not the things which made this wedding feels that grand. Seeing the bride smiling happily beside the man of her own choice which looks cared so much about her, compared to 15 years of rough times she has been through alone without any member of our family know what we can do to make things easier for her (in fact, we might even made things so much more complicated for her), made me think of nothing more than; Congratulation little sis, you've did it!

"How could they let blah blah blah...." Some "older" members of our family still complained about that not so traditional wedding (according to our family's custom), while I found their attitude were so much more inappropriate. Come on. While some of the bride's friends seems to be more than willing to sacrifice their sleeping time to decorate the venue, or provide discounts for their services, most of our big family members were just asked to be there, enjoying everything provided, without even need to do something or even think of where all of those money and work to realize such beautiful ceremony and party were coming from. How amazing that they were still complaining. Although those "older" family members brought some money, in wedding envelopes.

Never mind. The bride never really care about whatever they say nor do. Neither do I. Especially when they were bombarding me with the who and when questions, which I used to think supposed to be prohibited to be asked to a single lady in her 30's and up like me. Later on I think they who ask such questions is totally uncreative enough to produce a better way to communicate, and I've got a lot more fun stuffs to deal with instead of helping them with that problem, so let them be.

One thing which was bothering me during that wedding; the bride's sister told me; at that time, she was tempted to leave her husband and kids from her 12 years marriage. I wish she has forgotten the idea of making her intention be true. Hope soon enough, for now she has managed to hold the temptation to split up, while keeps on singing Hard to Say I'm Sorry from Chicago through her facebook page; Everybody needs a little time away I heard her say, from each other. Even lovers need a holiday....

Idolizing; Never get it wrong

I was just realize that there were a lot of men who feel offended by the fact that the girls/women they like were idolizing other guy, while actually it wasn't always like whatever scary thing you guys had been imagining.

Yes. Some women might have been one of those freaks who wanted to live in dreams with the guys they've been idolizing, but it wasn't all of them. Some others consider having an idol like putting on make-ups on their face every single morning. It is a matter of habitual and satisfactory need, and has nothing to do with the guys they like or having relationship with in real life. Really? Yup. I am pretty sure about it.

Whether you guys like it or not, those idols really know how to create products which make those ladies feel good. Whether it's their look, smile, words they say, lyrics of their songs, whatever they do and say in movies or advertisements... name it, while some real guys having quite a difficulty in fulfilling those ladies' need. It was more or less like what happened when guys wanted their ladies to act like those girls they saw on x rated movies and those ladies were also find it difficult to fulfill it.

So, be proud when your lady tell you anything related to their idols. It means they trust you that much, and you guys don't even need to feel offended by it. Instead, spare sometimes to try to understand whatever or whom ever your lady loves. Again, just like what you think about those x rated movies and those chicks in it, you two might end up enjoying it together ^,^

Thank You For the 2011's Shaolin

I was just back from watching a very cool movie, Shaolin. Somehow I feel that I need to say thank you very much for every single person involved in its making..... Sounds too much? Not really.

As usual, I always love things which make me feel something, while this movie make me feel a lot of things. First of all, with Andy Lau starred in it, this movie certainly made me feel "I've got to see it!" Then, knowing Jackie Chan is also in this movie, I feel "It must be very interesting!" And when I've seen it, I think this movie is really amazing.

Since its tittle was Shaolin, I wasn't really surprised to see that this movie reminds me very much on Jet Li's type of Shaolin movies.... But imagine this; a very nice blend of Jet Li's type of Shaolin movies, with Jackie Chan's smooth & fresh details, plus the so Andy Lau movie's main character (him self, of course ^,^).... Hmmm.... So far, whatever I say was from 3 of the featured stars only, while this movie is so much more than that. I can say nothing more, but I LOVE IT VERY MUCH. ^_^

Still.... Not that I think this movie's perfect. I'm kind of disturbed with the scene when Westerner is about to bomb the temple. Why is it seems like he's got the idea of bombing the temple while he's already about to blow it?! .... Never mind. I still love it, and feel very much grateful of having the chance to see it. So, once again, thank you very much.

Be cool!

Anyone who tries challenging your philosophy might leave you feeling a little irritated. Try not to take it too seriously, though -- it might lead to an interesting discussion.

I don't know what to put here as its title

I've been busy lately with a couple of translations.... Two of them was quite interesting, although those two wasn't so me. Here is what I thought about those films.

"Beyond Our Ken" (HK 2004) has got a pretty surprising ending. Its characters were pretty interesting, though I don't agree with the end conclusion that there is no good man nor good woman in this world. I wonder why the writer could have such negative idea on human (imagine what would happen if those who watch this film is 100% dumb enough to believe in such idea?)....
"The Romantic Fool" (HK 2007) supposed to tell a very beautiful story *indeed the story is beautiful*, though it was a little bit too boring at the beginning. One thing in this film is so deceiving; the seems to be horror background, which I hate it *how could a romantic movie deliver such a scary ambiance?! Somehow it makes me feels like I still want to finish whatever I am doing in the bathroom, while someone keeps on knocking at the door, telling me to get out. Aaargh!!!*

Oh, well. I wouldn't say whatever I wrote here as a recommendation, for I am not 100% like them. But these two were pretty much interesting to watch for its stories was a little bit different.

Okay. I've got to get back to work. A couple of episodes from another drama series were still waiting for me. ^_^

Menerima Dan Belajar Dari Kesalahan

Mistake, Salah, Kesalahan, Bersalah

Enough is Enough

I met a guy. In a shopping mall. He seems nice, talked about his family a lot and it was a quite nice talk we've got when we met. So then we exchanged our phone numbers before saying good-bye to one another.

Only about an hour later, he sent a text message to me. I replied. Nicely. Then he text, text, text,... about his this friend, then that friend, asking whether I am busy or not then I say yes I am very busy, then he sent another text about he was stopping by to have some coffee, before another text and again... in short, these last two days of mine is full of whatever he felt and did, start from the time when the sun rise, until it was rising again.

I believe on being nice to others, but I think it was too much already. He knew exactly that I was busy, but he keep on bugging me.... What happened next? I called it off. I deleted every single text he sent me, without even reading them anymore. Was that mean I am bad? Not exactly. I was just trying to balance whatever he did to me, without paying any revenge ^,^

Older to cry on

Remember how much we love on being considered older than our own age when we were kids? Or how we used to act as if we were adult during our teenage? Do you still wish or pretend that you are older than your age now?

I have quit doing so. Or at least I think I have decided that I want to quit doing so, because I don't feel getting older as something as fun as I used to thought.

"Sorry girls/guys, I can't. I would love to, but my boss blah blah blah...." Sounds familiar? That's one thing I don't really enjoy on being older.

I used to be able to sleep only a couple of hours a day, for I need to balance my study/work hours with a couple playing sessions. But now, not anymore.... Not without that "Ouch!" feeling at any part of my body....

So what do I am saying like this for? You may criticize whatever I wrote here, but please do not say, "Excuse me maam...." That's another thing I don't quite like on getting older. Sorry, but I think I have too get used to of people calling me miss ^,^
